A 2001 would-be movie monster classic. Let’s set the scene: A hot, dusty road in the American countryside. Two sweaty teens in an old car encountering a dark, menacing vehicle.
31daysofhorror, day 21: Last House on the Left (2009)
This movie is a remake, but it doesn’t make it any easier to watch. A teenage girl is brutally SA’d after watching her friend be murdered. She manages to escape within an inch of her life and make it home.
#31daysofhorror, day 17: One Dark Night (1982)
While it’s not technically a bad movie & some of the effects were incredibly amusing, One Dark Night seemed exhaustingly long even though it was only an hour and a half.
#31daysofhorror, day 15: Hell House, LLC. 2: The Abbadon Hotel (2018)
The OG Hell House LLC was a solidly alright watch. Did it have its problems? Sure enough. Was it watchable? Passably.
#31daysofhorror, day 12: Castle Freak (1995)
This movie adds a new state of titties to the GITM cinematic universe “titties bit off by dungeon eunuchs” & that part is really fucked up. This is one of the rare horror movies where the subplot is more compelling than the primary weird element.
