Aliens!, hillabillies, getting shitty in the desert
The focus in this movie is off. It feels as if the writers room speed-listened to every episode of Coast to Coast AM in subliminal form while consuming an inhuman amount of drugs. If you can’t write a basic, cohesive narrative about the psych student daughter of an alien nut who went on to the to the big hangar in the sky — you may as well throw every trope, every alien-adjacent urban legend in there, & just hope that everyone just gets so confused they’re not sure if they’re entertained or not.
