Nintendo 64 CGI, sniveling bootlicker Dr. Ted, cute tho!
Did I fall asleep during this movie & have to rewatch it? Several times. Was it worth rewatching? No. Was Ted Raimi hot even as a sniveling, bootlicking doctor holding the agenda of a shadowy corporation against the survival of a troop of goofy ass space Marines? Yes. As someone who grew up both white trash & with my own semper fi grandpa, there was something incredibly amusing to me to see the sketchy ass USMC tat juxtaposed below a fucking hatchet man Juggalo tattoo. I’d like to think if my Papa had been a space marine who spent his youth hanging out at the Marysville Winco Foods (the largest congregation of full-makeup juggalos I’ve seen out here in the west) he’d have died blowing up raptor aliens like Pappy instead of at the hands of George W. Bush’s VA. Still wouldn’t have saved this movie though & now I’m sad.
